Received these boots very quickly and the quality is great. Did have to get Topys installed as the toe was starting to wear a little after just 3 days, but that's more to do with wearing leather soles in the PNW rain than the shoe itself. Very comfortable with little breakin required. Only thing I would change if I was ordering these boots again is a rubber sole instead of leather.

Excellent pair of shoes!! I love them! This is my second pair of shoes from John Doe. I would highly recommend this particular pair of shoes and John Doe shoes.

I like the boot quite a bit so far. The fit is great ordered my size and got my size. The leather has quite a bit of wrinkling for a first day but the craftsmanship is very very good. The only complain is there was a lot of make up on the soles and they stain floors quite easily. Hopefully this wears out and it's not a result of poor heal material. The missing star rating is a result of the wrinkling and if you like shoes that don't wrinkle easily this is not for you. The leather it self seems to be really good quality, it has the softness, smell, and look of good quality leather.
