Exceptional quality. So happy!

I really like the unique look and feel of this leather. The texturing almost reminds of me bison leather, just a little more mellow. I gave this four stars only because I found the fit on the Stark model I ordered a bit strange. The heel cup is quite shallow and unlined, which has led to significant heel slippage even though I ordered the same size as my other JDS models, which fit fine. I have partially fixed the problem by adding inserts.

5 Stars Chocolate Deerskin yet once again John Doe has exceeded my expectations. I asked for a slight modification to the Galdi loafer. I received exactly what I hoped for (see pic on John Doe Facebook). for the forth time construction is impeccable. the fit is true to size. the shoes are comfortable right out of the box. I have yet to need a break-in with any John Doe shoes or chukka. pricing continues to be more than fair. after I pay off Holiday bills I look forward to seeing some olive tundra back in stock or some new leather that catches my eye
