Bought the 420 in Natural Essex as a part of the three for two deal. The boots look like a million bucks. Horween Essex leather is beautiful and having bought second grade hides from Horween to work with myself at home making bags and wallets I recognize the premium quality of the leather John Doe uses for their boots. The boots are true to size, half a size smaller than Tursday boots (I ordered 11.5 in JDB but 11 in Thursday) My criticism, I have wide feet and ordered the shoes in E but they are still very tight but I guess my feet have to take part of the blame there. Great value.

I ordered the 420 cap-toe boots in the natural essex leather, and I was impressed with the leather quality. The color was more orange (akin to tan color) than the natural color I was expecting like the natural chromexcel, but the quality of the leather sold me on the boots. The leather was thick and full of color, much thicker than some Allen Edmonds boots I have, and they did have not creased as much in the two months that I have been wearing them. The new Milo last is very sleek and stylish, it complements the essex leather well. My only complaint was the break-in period of the 420 boots: Got a few blisters on the heels from the heel counters digging into the back of my feet. Other than that, great boots and another solid offering from John Doe Shoes.

Estamos hablando de un cuero de de calidad imperial. Construcción del zapato impecable, no me los quiero quitar. Altamente recomendable. Vale la pena.
