Great, big fan of the shoes and have owned for about a year so far with no complaints.

Very pleased with my first purchase from John Doe shoes. Never bought shoes on line before, but the fit is perfect,and the shoes look good and feel great. Wore them all day yesterday for the first time and were comfortable for the whole time. Looking forward to wearing my new black oxfords soon!

I'm familiar with shoes in general, but not an expert in any particular type. I do know, however, that a good quality shoe with Goodyear welted construction costs more, and is generally more desirable, than a shoe made with soles glued on, like is so common these days. While shopping for shoes on-line, I found the John Doe Shoes website. I noted that the site had many style shoes with Goodyear welted construction at very reasonable prices. I decided to order a pair. When I received the shoes I liked the look. I noted no flaws. They fit nicely and are comfortable. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I expect to order more when the need arises. Fred

These shoes have a gorgeous color that combined with the style of the shoes make you stand out among the crowd. I just do not have enough word to describe them. Soft, comfortable, durable, and a price that easily beats the competition. John Doe just keeps on amazing me.

true to size, felt great on my feet. the solid construction was obvious, and the leather is soft and comfortable. i don't think anyone else is making shoes of this quality at this price. i had to return mine because the color wasn't quite what i expected. if i hadn't had a specific shade of brown in mind, though, i definitely would have kept them.
